Stockwood House aim to provide a quality service at a reasonable price. Our current fees are approximately half of the National reference cost (2006-2007) of commissioned and contracted out adult eating disorders placements, and less than half the cost of a private inpatient admission. We hence represent a significant cost saving to commissioners of specialist services, with the reassurance of a specialist team approach and tailored care for each client.
We appreciate that our clients have a varied and often poor history of outcomes within the established avenues for treatment. Typically they have utilised both Social resources in the community and also specialist Health Care services through the National Health Service or wider private funding. At Stockwood House Health and Social Care needs are met in a holistic way, rendering clear apportionment of each of these elements extremely difficult. It is usually dependent upon the individual. As the overwhelming majority of clients have both Social Care and Health needs and we encourage joint funding, and we are happy to offer advice on proportioning the fees on an individual basis following an initial assessment.
Our fees are inclusive of food and accommodation, 24 hour staffing, therapeutic intervention, activities, excursions and recreation.
